UX strategy and interface design for Medtrend’s patient-facing portal — a digital health platform connecting patients with their medical records, test results, and specialist appointments across Hungary’s private healthcare network.
The project began with extensive user research: interviews with patients across age groups, observation sessions in clinic waiting rooms, and accessibility audits of the existing system. The findings shaped a radically simplified flow — reducing the average task completion time from 7 steps to 3.
The design system was built around WCAG 2.1 AA compliance, ensuring accessibility for older and visually impaired users without sacrificing visual quality.
